True Ridge

A Journey of Healing

Founders: Lori & Ed McCammon

True Ridge was founded on our belief that all individuals are entitled to freedom and the pursuit of happiness, without abuse or oppression from anyone. Through True education, support, and love for ourselves and all of our neighbors, we can bring peace and harmony to our world.

We dreamed of an organization that would support our Hispanic and under-served communities in their times of need. We provide culturally-relevant bilingual advocacy, case management and guidance in a safe space while educating and encouraging those who remain silent in the face of injustice, to speak up and be heard.

Our guiding principles are: Trust, Diversity, Unity, Transparency, Inclusivity, Family, Hope, Commitment, Passion and Love.

We are a non-profit organization in Henderson County, NC whose primary focus and passion are to provide guidance, instill trust, build a sense of dignity and respect in our community as a whole. We provide services to the Hispanic community, which is experiencing great stress and fear in the current political climate we live in, and to the under-served.

True Ridge's Mission

True Ridge is a nonprofit organization dedicated to assisting survivors of abuse, domestic violence, and their families while accompanying them on their journey towards self-sufficiency and independence. We provide education, social, legal, and mental health services, directly or through connections to other available resources in our area. Collaborating with local groups and organizations, our goal is to unite the community by being more inclusive and proactive so all our neighbors know they can count on us in their time of need.
